Joe Lane

Joe Lane is a Research Engineer, and PhD student, with the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland. Joe has degrees in Chemical engineering and Environmental Management, both from the University of Queensland. He has 10 years professional experience in process engineering and water resources management. More recently, Joe has been researching methods for incorporating environmental information into organisational decision making. Much of this work has focussed on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, particularly for the urban water industry. Joe's LCA research also aims to deliver improved LCA impact models for use in the Australian context. Joe chairs the Methodology Committee of the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society (ALCAS).
