Research Fellow - Strategic Planning: Developing a dynamic planning and forecasting modelThis is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future direction of Australia's premier university. You will participate in a 3-year research project on the development of a dynamic planning and forecasting tool. This will entail:
You will be a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computing Science or related field with sound computational skills (preferably FORTRAN, C, or other mathematical programming language); experience in constrained optimisation, and linear and goal programming; experience in designing and programming of end-user interfaces; experience in handling large data bases; experience in solving equations describing dynamic systems. The position is full-time for an initial three-year term, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees. Remuneration package: $81,729 - $97,053 p.a.
